Position Overview
Forward Global’s investigations team is seeking a talented and experienced individual to conduct U.S. and international investigative due diligence research for a wide range of financial, legal, and corporate clients. This position requires a highly motivated and seasoned researcher with a strong analytical ability, two to four years of corporate investigations industry experience, and an investigative mindset.
Senior Analysts are responsible for conducting complex and high-stakes investigations. They will lead and execute investigations in support of due diligence, litigation (including tracing assets), corporate contests (including proxy battles and hostile takeovers), political risk analysis, and market entry.
Senior Analysts may also have additional responsibilities, including quality control, training, client relations, business development, project oversight and/or people management. The firm also relies on Senior Analysts to provide mentorship and guidance to Analyst-level employees.
Key Responsibilities
Experience conducting investigative research in support of pre-investment/M&A transactions, corporate contests, or litigation and/or arbitration
Mastery of open-source and public records research, including experience using a wide range of U.S. and international public record resources (e.g., LexisNexis, Factiva, PACER, regulatory filings, civil and criminal records, property records, etc.)
Ability to independently conduct complex research and investigative projects
Strong investigative skills and ability to guarantee the integrity, accuracy, and thoroughness of research
Excellent English-language writing, presentation, and communication skills
Capacity to adapt to new situations and accept/apply feedback in a professional manner
Intellectual curiosity
Professional working proficiency in a foreign language (reading, writing) is a plus
Experience in financial or legal sectors is a plus
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience) with an emphasis on research and writing skills, including international relations/affairs, journalism, political science, law, or other related areas of study
Two to four years of experience in the due diligence, investigations, and corporate intelligence industry is required

Compensation
Minimum Pay: $70,000 - Maximum Pay: $85,000
